It started with an idea, a discussion with my partner and ended with a 'why the hell not'!!! I like studying and thinking outside the box, so after being involved in the wedding industry for many years as a musician, and also in my spare time (not much of it) creating my own music and lyrics, I thought why not combine my love of writing with my experience and train to be a wedding celebrant. My parents were approaching their own Golden Wedding Anniversary so I thought it would be an amazing surprise to be able to conduct a wedding vow renewal ceremony for them whilst they were visiting me in Sunny Cyprus and so I began the journey of a studying for a job that I would absolutely fall in love with! It is such an honour to be a part of a couples' big day and to get to know them, and of course craft a totally bespoke wedding ceremony script that totally focuses on their individual story. Since then I've had the pleasure of being at the most divine venues from beach to rustic to way up in the mountains, and each one has been a unique experience, I can't wait to do it all again next season.
